What we Do
MES offers a comprehensive afterschool programme (ASPs) for learners between grades 1 and 12 and children who graduated from the MES Early Childhood Development programme. By providing afterschool supervision, homework assistance, nutritious meals, and extracurricular recreational activities, MES supports inner-city children’s academic, spiritual, physical, and social development, helping them become well-rounded and healthy young people.
Get Involved
- Computer literacy classes at all locations need to be enhanced and expanded, and assistance with new computers and volunteers for training would be required.
- Help us develop a robotics centre for inner-city children/youth.
- Access to psychologists and counsellors is required to help support children holistically.
- Volunteers and mentors to assist with extra classes for specific subjects.
- We need bursaries of R150 per month to assist families who cannot afford the monthly commitment for the ASPs.
